App terms of use
Last updated October 16, 2026. These terms are the end-user licence agreement for the Bookhand app. By connecting Bookhand to QuickBooks or using the app, you agree to them.
What Bookhand is
Bookhand helps you keep your books by chat. You say what happened, Bookhand drafts the record, and it saves the record in your QuickBooks Online company only when you press the confirm button. Bookhand is in early access, so features may change and things may sometimes go wrong.
You stay in charge
- Check every draft before you confirm it. Once confirmed, the record is in QuickBooks and Bookhand cannot undo it. You can change or delete it in QuickBooks.
- Bookhand is not an accountant and does not give accounting, tax or legal advice. For those, talk to a professional.
- Bookhand records money in your books. It never takes, sends or moves money.
Your data
Your books and documents stay yours. You give Bookhand permission to use them only to do what you ask. The app privacy policy explains how.
Fair use
Use Bookhand only for businesses you are allowed to manage. Do not try to break, overload or copy the app. We may suspend access if it is misused.
QuickBooks
QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc. Bookhand is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit. Your use of QuickBooks is also covered by Intuit's own terms.
No warranty and limits
Bookhand is provided as is, without any promise that it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for Bookhand in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop at any time by disconnecting Bookhand. We may end early access with notice by email.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above and tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province where Bookhand is based. Questions: hello@bookhand.ca.
